As a web entrepreneur i would like to see a strong  #2 competitor for google in search/contextual ads and hopefully this consolidation will help...IMO, combining Yahoo's great brand with Microsoft's distribution power (via IE) is a winning combo!..

 

But regulatory approval and the subsequent intergration will take atleast 2 years and so do the revenue lift. So in the meantime if you are a yahoo shareholder my advice is to sell the sucker (at $29) & lock your gain now!.
